A few reminders for this week – -
Please mark Sunday, June 3rd on your calendars. The NB History Book Committee will be hosting a “History Booking Day” at the hall. The lights will be on by 10am and will be turned off after the last person leaves. The idea is gather up your stories, your facts and your photos, bring your paper, pens, laptops, scanners, extension cords – any and all helpful tools and resources for preparing your family histories. Why not prepare a yummy snack to share. There will be tea, coffee and juice, and/or bring a bevi of choice. Tables and chairs can be arranged in any fashion, Wi Fi is available, assistants will be on hand for direction, advice, help – you name it. The idea is to offer and warm and friendly place for friends and neighbors to gather and make history! There is no set time commitment, it will be a come and go day. Dirt Devils Baseball fun team is underway. Inviting all players Grades Pre-K to 3 to join in on the fun. We meet Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 on the NB School field. Bring your baseball glove, mosquito spray and smile. For more information, please call or text Andrea Thornton @ 403-664-1241.
New Brigden Pre-K and ECS is now registering students for the 2012-2013 school year. Please contact Mrs. Nadine Caskey (teacher – 403-664-2144) and/or Andrea Thornton (ECS President – 403-664-1241) to inquire about our programs and/or to register your child/ren.
Another reminder that the moms & tots are meeting Tuesday mornings at the curling rink @10am. You don’t have to have a tot to attend, come out for a visit. Everyone welcome. Contact Nichole Foot for more info (403-664-3167).
Don’t forget about the Oyen United Church’s Bridal Extravaganza fundraiser at the New Brigden Hall Saturday June 9, watch for more information.
The community association will be hosting a his & hers shower for Lindsay Chmilar & Chris Jorgenson on Saturday June 16 at the hall. Watch for more info – everyone welcome!

Please don’t assume it is just available, even if you live in the community – until you have confirmation from Joan that it is available – it is not booked. Thanks for your co-operation on this. Chances are it will be available but we’ve had some double bookings and don’t want to turn anyone away.
